Ideal Auto and Qingtuo Group jointly developed high-strength and tough stainless

On December 12,2024, Qingtuo Group and Ideal Automobile and other industrial chain partners jointly witnessed the launch ceremony of high strength and toughness stainless steel UFHS for new energy vehicles. The two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement and inaugurated the stainless steel joint innovation Center for new energy vehicles. The production line of the material marks the joint development of high-strength stainless steel by Qingtuo Group and Ideal Automobile officially entering the field of new energy vehicles.
UFHS, a high-strength and tough stainless steel for high-pressure fuel tanks of new energy vehicles, is a high-strength, high-corrosion-resistant, and easy-to-form austenitic stainless steel material. Compared with traditional stainless steel for high-pressure fuel tanks, its yield strength is increased by more than 40%, and its puncture resistance is stronger and its application is safer. This material will be installed in Ideal Auto.
Based on the cooperation foundation of fuel tank products, Qingtuo Group will continue to deepen cooperation with Ideal Auto and other industry chain partners in the new stainless steel materials for new energy vehicles, and jointly promote the research and development, production and application of new safe, high-strength, lightweight and low-carbon stainless steel products.
